The Tour

The Historical Tour is specially designed for visitors who want, not only to experience the Ballyhoura Artisan Food Park, but also to learn a little about the rich history of the area. Kilfinane is steeped in legend and lore and our expert guide will bring you through some of the stories and events linked to the area.

From the Motte to the High Kings of Munster and the church that St. Finnian founded, Kilfinane is home to a wonderful mystical and cultural tradition.

From saints, sinners and everyone in between, you’ll find it all in the stories our guides bring to life. Your tour includes:

  • A special Ballyhoura Apple Farm tasting
  • Expert tour guide
  • Additional history of the local area and culture
